Advocacy
Bridging
Gaps
The
Bridging Gaps committee promotes networking
and interactions among students from across
the university by organizing a campus-wide
activities fair in the fall and a leadership
recognition and awards dinner in the spring.
In addition to these main events, they support
graduate and professional student groups
on campus through numerous other activities.
Chair: Cole Johson.
Community Service
The
Community Service committee strives to unify
the campus in a single community service
goal in addition to providing networking
and interaction opportunities for students
from the different graduate and professional
schools while accomplishing something beneficial
for the community.
Chair: Brooke Curtiss.
Social
The
Social committee strives to provide networking
and interaction opportunities for students
from the eight different graduate schools
at Washington University in St. Louis. By
and large, the Social committee is the driving
force behind "GPC Presents" and
"GPC Night out" as well as anual
events such as "Night at the Symphony,"
"Cardinal's Baseball Game," and
the GPC happy hours/networking events.
Chair: Michele Backus.
Strategic Planning
The Strategic Planning
committee addresses internal concerns of the
GPC, such as structure and funding. In addition,
this committee considers constitutional amendments
and other policy changes that affect the long-term
future of the GPC.
